Hi all,
I visited Sprague Lake this morning. On the Adams County side, I found a pair of Long-tailed Ducks in the small patch of unfrozen water behind the cow lot / Osprey platflorm. Not much open water so they should be easy to find if they stick around. Also, Terry Little's Ferruginous Hawk was still present. It was chasing a Rough-legged Hawk around and was fun to watch. I did get some photos of the bird so I'll post those later on Flickr.
Searched for the reported Snowy Owl in that area as well with no luck.
Good birding!
