Tweets,
Wanted to chime in on the issue of Tweeters guidelines in perspective of other lists around the country. I happen to subscribe to various list-servs (Nebraska, New Hampshire, Carolinas, Oregon to name a few) partly because I've either birded there and plan to return or have ties to there and want to follow the birding community. I have to say that just about all lists are far more restrictive in their posting guidelines than Tweeters. Few if any posts are about bird sightings outside of the lists area. Only conservation issues directly relating to birds in the area are posted (and they are very few) and topics are very relevant to the lists. So, I would say that Dan and Hal have been very gracious in their leniency and any guidelines they chose to enforce are still less restrictive than most other list-servs in North America.

My two cents.
