Hi folks,



Late morning today I had an adult Northern Shrike sitting in a small, lone tree along the Meadowbrook Farm field on Boalch Road, basically almost across from the entrance to the Mount Si golf course, which happens to also just be across from Three Forks.? This is only the second bird of this species I've seen in Three Forks/Meadowbrook, although the habitat along the Meadowbrook Fields in particular would seem to be perfect for a wintering shrike.? As I was watching, it flew into Three Forks, appearing to head for the 'second field' behind the dog off-leash area, which is where I had the only other bird one or two years ago.?
