Dear Tweeters,

Snowy Owls are being seen at Sandy Point in Whatcom County.

Two were seen there yesterday, and I believe one or more today.

Basing the road names on the map in Opperman, page 138, the south end of Patos Dr would be one of the locations. The other owl was on a rooftop, and could be seen from the very tip of the point, reached by following Thetis Way to its end.

Today, I was able to get down to Thomle Road in Snohomish County and see one Snowy Owl, very distant on the dike.

I also spent a fruitless hour or so at the Black Phoebe spot--maybe I'll try again one of these days.

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch
