Subject: [Tweeters] snowy owl at Woodland Park Zoo

The Snowy Owl was still on top of the Australiasian building as of 10:30am
- I just got back. The crows were not mobbing it anymore, just a couple
of quick fly-bys. The owl preened for a bit, then seemed to want to
hunker down. Visitor traffic was increasing, though - don't know if that
will disturb it.

I dashed over there from work without bins or camera, but it was close
enough for me to get *excellent* views without optics.

THANK YOU Mark for posting - this is a Life bird for me!
