hi:
there have been anywhere from 5 to 25 trumpeter swans swimming around
langlois lake (near the end of ne 24th street off hwy 203 just south of
carnation) for the last several days. the gate to the boat launch is
closed for the season, but it's a short walk down the hill to the shore of
the lake. sometimes the swans are very close to the boat launch. might be
some nice photo ops if one does not mind hauling gear down and up the hill
(or goes sane and just fires away with a p and s).
