Hi, since I have a sordid history with missing this species in the 33 years since I've cared, when I found myself wide awake in bed at 2:30 a.m. the morning after the location of the bird had broken (I'd known for days that one was somewhere "up there") I couldn't stand it anymore. Though I had fully intended to go dutifully to work at 7 a.m., it was 3:15 and I folded and bolted. I sent a very difficult "I can't come to work in the morning" e-mail to my boss (I NEVER don't show) and hit the road. Four and a half hours into my drive the cell phone rang; the boss. I start to aplogize and he cuts me off "you shut up, you go get it and take a picture for me". So here ya go Curt. Though I know others must have much nicer photos, here are my attempts at digiscoping in low light through a bramble of branches.
