Heavy snow was falling on the Bald Eagles on Higgens Point on Lake Coeur d'Alene as they perched to digest their meals of spawned out Kokanee salmon. We were able to get very nice close looks.
Out in the lake, we couldn't see the individual gulls well enough through the snow to identify any beyond the few Ring-billed Gulls that flew directly overhead.
We did see lots of Buffleheads and Common Goldeneyes, and several more eagles actively fishing at Beauty Bay.
