Four of us on a very quick trip over to Ocean Shores this morning beat the high tide and found at least 8 SNOWY OWLS on Damon Point. The gnatcatcher and eider were at their known/usual spots. We did not find the Palm Warbler. Two searches of the golf course produced a small flock of dusky Canada Geese the first time and only golfers on the second round. A larger flock of Canada Geese was at the airport, but no sign of cackling geese or the emperor by 10:30 when we had to head home.
