Continued through at least noon, flying around the northeast (largely iced over) corner of the lake.? Settled on the ice for a bit, until being flushed by a Bald Eagle, and was eventually lost from view against the snowy backdrop.
No deer carcass evident, but we kicked up a dying carp onto shore just north of the northernmost public access ?in hopes of offering an alternative food source...

Never saw the sheep around the lake, but had a nice surprise in a small group grazing in a yard in Loomis on the way out.? Impressive rack!
