Hi all,

Today (12/29/11) around 4 PM there was a Short-eared Owl flying over the grassy area on the south side of the NOAA campus just north of -- but visible from -- Magnuson Park in Seattle. If it returns, it would likely be visible from the dog park.

I've seen Barn Owls here before, but this was my first Short-eared at this location.
