Birded Magnuson Park on Thursday this week. Dipped once more on California Quail, but did have some nice sightings, the most notable of which was a gorgeous Townsend's Solitaire which gave us great looks (seen by the bird blind near Promontory Point). Also saw several resplendant Common Goldeneyes and two male Eurasian Wigeons, as well as great looks at a Pileated Woodpecker or two.
