My husband and I went up to the Samish Flats on Saturday and saw around 10
owls in total after 3PM very south of the main parking lot. It was cold,
cloudy, and rainy at first, but the sun eventually came out for a little and
we got a little bit of light. We actually went up last weekend and saw the
owls but wasn?t able to get as close as this weekend.


All were taken with 1D Mark IV + 500mm f/4L IS + 1.4x Extender v2 on a
GM3551 Monopod w/ RRS Monopod head.
