Second what Lee says. So many email users don't seem to realize you can
redirect mail to different folders as it comes in. For example, to redirect
birding email:

In Outlook, create a new sub-folder in the Inbox folder. In my case, I have
a subfolder "Birding Lists" where tweeters and inland birders email is
redirected.

Under Tools, choose Rules and Alerts. Follow the directions. All my email
from tweeters and inland birders goes into the Birding Lists subfolder as it
arrives. My email from my many other time-wasting email lists goes into
other appropriately named folders.

I funnel all of my Tweeters email into a single Tweeters mailbox in
my mail program; that way, it can come in all day long and not
clutter up my regular personal and business mailboxes. Most mail
programs will allow you to do this.
