Tweets -

There were two swans on Capitol Lake in Olympia today (on the central
basin). The Trumpeter Swan (first reported on 1 December 2010 by Eric
Cannizaro) is still there. Also seen was a Mute Swan; it is newly
arrived since Feb. 8th, the last time I was here. Each pretty much kept
to itself.

Otherwise, the over-wintering waterfowl flocks are gone or greatly
diminished.
