Hello all,
I'm planning to go to the Point Wilson area leaving from Seattle on
Saturday. I've never been there and was hoping I could get some tips on
specific places to go from the wonderful people on Tweeters.
In the last month I've seen reports of at least 7 birds (Yellow-billed Loon,
Pacific Loon, Red-throated Loon, Brandt's Cormorant, Marbled Murrelet,
Ancient Murrelet, Black Oystercatcher) that I have never seen. Of course
since my life (a short life of about 9 months) list only has 142 species on
it, it is not that hard to find new birds.
Any advice and tips would be helpful. I plan to take the Edmonds - Kingston
Ferry and head North. Are there stops along the way that would be
recommended?
In addition, my wife and I will have our 6 year old daughter and will be
looking for a few excursions she is interested in. Seashells are a
definitely and interest.
Feel free to respond off list.
Thanks
