Still space on tomorrow / Friday night's reverse owl watching walk!
(The owls will be watching us and listening to us. We will only hear
and see them if we are lucky) We will also see our first budding and
blooming native plants!
We will see owl fur and bone balls

Stewart Wechsler invites the community to my following upcoming
crepuscular* naturalist walks:
(*a crepuscular animal is one most active at dawn and dusk)

The Oemlaria cerasiformus - Indian plum blooms are opening!
The Sambucus racemosa - Red Elderberry buds are breaking and smellable!
The Corylus corunuta - Hazelnut catkins are extended!

The Barred Owls will be watching us!

meet before at Cafe Ladro if you'd like for coffee, tea or pastries then
leave from Ladro at 6:15pm:

Friday, February 18th, 6:15 pm or 6:30 pm - 8:30 or 9pm:
Early spring in Lincoln Park from dusk to dark. Explore with me the
sights, smells and sounds of Lincoln Park from the owls' fur and bone
balls, to its budding and sprouting flowers and plants by dark (with
flashlights)!
Meet 6:30 pm at kiosk at center of Lincoln Park's north parking lot
across from Rose St.
Alternately meet at 6:15 pm at Cafe Ladro 7011 California SW and walk
with me (or bike) to Lincoln from there.
People can gather there for coffee, tea or pastries and conversation
before and /or after.
I will return to Ladro on foot about 9:00 pm.

Until we successfully phase out our broken promissory notes and the
universe stops demanding them of me, both financial contributions and
non-monetary contributions to allow me to continue my full time work
will be graciously accepted. When we successfully phase them out, the
broken promissory notes may be better used for mulch, fuel or recycled
as paper.
