Subject: [Tweeters] wing tagged raptor near Bellingham

It's one of Bud Anderson's Sea-Tac red-tails, and possibly the same one I've been tracking for two months.
This particular bird has ranged from downtown Bellingham to the same area noted in the original post.

I have photos from three separate locations.

With all tagged/banded birds the first task is to ID the bird. Without a species
D one can't do much.
You can then report them at the easy to remember
http://www.reportband.gov/
and they'll pass it on to the PI who is licensed to use these tags on this
pecies.

A neighbor called me earlier today to ask if I knew anything about an ongoing
aptor study. She recently saw a raptor perched on a power pole that had a wing
ag with a large number 15 on it. She thinks the tag was blue, but could be
istaken. The location was at the intersection of Country Lane and Hoff Road,
ust northwest of Bellingham.
