Yesterday on the way to school I saw two Bald Eagles on a nest. We have two nests here in Lewis County within a minute or two drive off I-5. Both are active. If someone wants to see one feel free to contact me off line.

This morning I had a nice surprise with what my old Peterson's Eastern Book called the Slate-colored Junco. We also nearly daily are getting Mourning Doves, Steller's Jays, Black-capped and Chestnut-backed Chickadees. Just to name the most numerous birds coming to feeders.

Cheers,
