Hi all:

I live in Ballard about half a mile west of the zoo.
Until recently, in late afternoons I always noticed crows heading in the
general direction of the roost site near Foster Island, though I understand
the numbers have dropped considerably over the last few years. On weekend
mornings I would see them fly into my neighborhood from that general
direction, also.
Starting about 2-3 weeks ago, I've noticed the neighborhood crows heading
east northeast in the afternoons. This includes crows that appear to be
coming from the Magnolia area. Has anyone else in the general Ballard area
noticed this? Is there a new roost site that anyone knows about in the area
east northeast of Ballard?
