Today, Tina and I birded around Othello in Adams County. Many of the
shallower ponds in that area are still ice covered; so, the waterfowl are
concentrated on the deeper lakes that are ice free. We saw a couple of the
more unusual species for the county:

. Greater-White-Fronted Goose - east of Othello just north of Hwy 26

. Herring Gull - Herman Lake

. Bald Eagle - Linda Lake

. Canyon Wren - Morgan Lake Road

. Tundra Swan - Para Ponds

We also saw our first of the year:

. Says Phoebe - Morgan Lake Road

. Yellow-Headed Blackbird - Morgan Lake Road

Enjoy!
