... and Bar-Headed Geese (possibly the same one) have been seen twice that I know about among the Canada Geese on Montlake Fill -- another wildfowl collection favorite.

I certainly embrace the concept of anything being anywhere, but I also know that we have a good number of waterfowl breeders here in WA and in the lower mainland of BC, so the potential for escaped birds should always be a consideration. I have a few nice photos of Barnacle Geese, taken at one particular breeder's waterfowl farm.

I'm never one to rain on anyone else's parade, but I photographed seven (7) Egyptian Geese north of Lynden and just south of the Canadian border a couple of years ago, so.....
