the barnacle goose was again seen today at the ridgefield nwr river s unit at the same spot as yesterday from about 8-9am, when it flew off southward with 8-10 other geese
the barnacle goose was not seen for the rest of the morning at the refugee with multiple searchers looking, but thanks to persistant searching by tom love, the goose was refound at about 1 pm south of the refugee on 229th st, which is south of the refugee and the first public right turn going south on hillhurst from the ridgefield nwr river s unit. it was in a large group of other cackling geese.
it is a lovely bird regardless of its provinance
thanks tom for sharing it today
