Hi Jessie,

So glad to hear from you! I hope you are well!

It's really cold here this week....I imagine it is in Victoria, too. I saw
Ann a little before Christmas, when she headed through here on her way
south. It was really fun!

You know, there are a couple places you could mention the workshop. The
first that comes to mind would be the Washington Birding Community List
Server, called Tweeters. The email address is: tweeters at u.washington.edu.
Here is the link, so you can take a look at it:
http://www.birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/TWET.html

I'm in some other organizations, but they don't have list servers. However,
I could print copies of the poster and bring them to the following places:
Seattle Audubon (they have a Nature Shop), Eastside Audubon (I have a
members' meeting next week), and the Washington Ornithological Society (I
have a members' meeting there the following week). Is this OK with you?

Seattle Audubon also has a "Master Birder" class going on right now. I'm
not in it at this time, but one of my best friends is, and I'm sure she
would bring copies of the poster if I asked her to. I would think there
might be some people in that class who might be really interested in the
workshop.

Maybe, for these organizations in Washington, it would be helpful to add
"Victoria, BC Canada" at the top of the poster, under the dates.

If I think of any other places...I will let you know!

Best wishes!

Megan

Hi Megan,

How are things going? Sorry to bother you but I've been put in charge of
promoting the banding workshop this year. Unfortunately I'm not that good at
it. I was wondering if you of any places I could promote the workshop in
Washington? Websites, mailing lists, yahoo groups, universities, colleges,
etc...

I also attached a poster I made up. Just in case :)

I appreciate any help you can offer!! Thanks again
