As Carol did, I noted my last bird of 2010...an Anna's female, flushed when
I opened the window to take in the feeder...and the first of 2011 when I
opened the front door at 6:40AM to let out the dog...a male Anna's waiting
for the front feeder! He promptly began scolding me for making him wait.
Then a robin flew off the driveway into the spruce in front...and the
re-charging of the feeders began.
