Looking again at Dennis Paulson's post, I realize I got my mass of birds on the Samish Flats area pond wrong. The couple photos we managed to get through the crowd have a harrier, so we missed the Peregrine. Dang. I didn't have enough room on either the shoulder or road side to maneuver out of the truck with the operated leg, and am way too slow and awkward to avoid speeding cars and bicyclists, so I was trying to birdwatch from the window over my shoulder through passing traffic and cars on the other side of the road. As per my previous post, not my favorite wildlife watching conditions. . .
