Aw shucks. All mine (not many; years ago) were seen along the hwy 20 corridor. The various pieces of the complex as a whole form a interwoven habitat or ecosystem. There is also a small area on Mount Baker that is (or used to be) administered by the National Park Service. And last but not least, there was a message on the Bellingham Herald website a while back that there is an effort to add land to the park (Glacier Peak?).

It is our understanding North Cascades National Park is one of three distinct units managed together as the North Cascades National Park Complex. Ross Lake National Recreation Area and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area are the other two units. We would recommend for "Washington Birder" List Reporting purposes, that any totals submitted for North Cascades National Park exclude sightings from Ross Lake NRA and Lake Chelan NRA.
