Has anyone out there been birding down at the Willapa NWR? If so, have you
seen the swans there or in the area off 113th Street? If so, have you
counted them or been able to ID them as to trumpeter or tundra?

An inquiring mind wants to know. Reports coming in are intriguing but not
definitive. We are doing a comprehensive swan count over the next 3 weeks
for western Washington. Knowing more about them or a better location
information will be very helpful.

And, if anyone has birding out and about on the Olympic Peninsuala-- have
you seen a collared swan: yellow collar code M25?
