Dear Tweeters,

If anyone would care to pass judgement on the identity of a hybrid duck, I now have four rather poor pictures. Keith Wiggers, Jan Wiggers and I saw this duck off Thousand Trails in Skagit County on 1-02-2011 on the Padilla Bay CBC. Keith was able to get only distant photos, but they do show quite a bit of detail. I would very much like to hear from people as to the parents of this bird. Ryan Merrill agrees that the bird we saw is not the same individual as the one he photographed a while back, elsewhere in the state.
