I don't draw a line between birders and photographers. Many birders
are photographers and vice-versa. Whether it's big camera lenses or big
spotting scopes or big binoculars, both "birders" and "photographers"
are going to be pointing something at the birds. The important thing,
of course, is that we respect the birds' space and well-being no matter
what kind of lens we point at them.
