Subject: [Tweeters] Pesky bird photographers

If we didn't have all these pesky bird photographers around, then I wouldn't
be able to see the photographs of ruffians like Gregg Thompson, Dennis
Paulson, Bob Kotenbeutel, John Tubbs and
Paul Bannick, not to mention many, many others.

If you haven't been fortunate enough to see the images that these guys are
producing these days, I can tell you they are absolutely stunning, cutting
edge, breath-taking works of art and a real addition to our understanding of
bird plumages, behavior and flight dynamics, etc.

So, not that it matters much, but I, for one, am all for it.

Matter of fact, I think that they should be putting Birds of Washington
online, highly supplemented with some of these truly extraordinary
photographs taken here in WA by the above masters of their art.

Talk about opportunities for tweaking bird ID......
