My addition to this post is that I, a very amateur birder with
binoculars only, really enjoy the beautiful photographs that the lens
folks post. If it is a bird I've been watching and wondering about
at the Fill or another location I've been birding, it gives me a
special thrill, and helps me confirm my ID.

So, I thank the photographers, as well as the more "expert" birders,
who share their pictures, knowledge, and sometimes their scopes with me.
