I believe this would be the heronry also known as Peasely Canyon. The nests
used to be easily viewed while driving State Route 18 between I-5 and
Auburn. I've tried to see indications of nests for a number of years (while
driving by) and have been under the impression that the site is totally
abandoned. I haven't, though, invested much effort at the search.
