I observed a Great Horned owl in Coulon Park in Renton yesterday atop a 5 story apartment building next to the Boeing plant. (and no it was not plastic :-))

Also, regarding Barred owls at Woodland Park.....they are fairly common there. I don't believe the pair that was seen actually "live" there, but there is an apparent pair that visits fairly frequently. I also see single owls frequently (I work nights there), and sometimes hunting. It's fun!!
