There is indeed a pair of wild bald eagles that have nested repeatedly at
Woodland Park Zoo. This year they fledged two offspring. The nest is
located in the elk yard in the Northern Trail exhibit, but is most easily
seen through the trees at the wolf exhibit. I don't think there's any
info on the zoo's website about the eagle pair, but from what I understand
they have been nesting there for several years now. Last year there was a
scope at the wolf exhibit where folks could take a closer look at the
parents and young. Quite cute!

Amusingly, while walking past the wolf exhibit today I saw two
golden-crowned kinglets acting just like juncos on the path. Not two feet
from me - and very calm! Unusual behavior for those little guys.
