The story from Romania reminds of something that happened at my house in the
late 60s when I was in high school in?Lewiston, Idaho.? My father decided to try
his hand at wine making,?the first step of which is to ?to process the
grapes.??? After my father was done with the grapes, he put the remains in the
gutter.? Small birds flew in, ate the remains of the grapes, and
got?drunk.??There? were not that many grapes and I don't recall seeing any dead
birds. ?
