Greetings,
I have been requested to send out the news of my observation to all those interested. I observed and photographed a Mountain Plover along the Washington coastline at Connor Creek on Sunday, January 13, 2011 at 10:15 AM. I have been waiting for expert opinions on my sighting to confirm that it was a Mt. Plover, I have just received that confirmation. A great find considering I was looking for Snowy Plovers and not Mountain Plovers.
