Hi Cyndie.That's good news; can you share that photo with me please, and
I'll forward it on to those who make the decisions on our rare birds. I am
the Grays Harbor County bird list compiler, and this would be a really GOOD
bird for the county. I would also like more exact info on where along Conner
Creek you found it.

I have been requested to send out the news of my observation to all those
interested. I observed and photographed a Mountain Plover along the
Washington coastline at Connor Creek on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 10:15 AM.
I have been waiting for expert opinions on my sighting to confirm that it
was a Mt. Plover, I have just received that confirmation. A great find
considering I was looking for Snowy Plovers and not Mountain Plovers.
