I was procrastinating under a pile of blankets on my couch just now when I awoke to an episode of "Oregon Field Guide" on KCTS (channel 9 here in Everett) that was projecting from the good old Television. I thought the episode might be of interest to some Tweeters.

The first segment was about White Sturgeon. Back in march of 2009 I posted about a stranding of large numbers of White Sturgeon in Port Susan and got quite a response from general Nature Nuts and Sturgeon freaks out there in Tweeterland. Sturgeon are North America's largest freshwater fish. I would recomend watching this show for great close-ups that reveal the true wonderfull weird beauty of these fish- they may be lurking in a river or bay near you ! They're even cooler looking than I imagined.

The second segment was about the latest Oregon Birdathon with endearing footage of fellow birders doing their thing, and some nice footage of birds.

I believe you could google (or whatever) KCTS or Oregon Field Guide to get this stuff online or find out when its on TeeVee again.
