"Oregon Field Guide" has become a favorite in our house. It is on several
times a week on PBS. We have a DVR, so we record it and watch them at our
leisure.

They ofter have sections about birds. A month or two ago, they had an
interesting section on Horned Larks and their loss of habitat in Oregon.

While I am e-mailing all of you out there in Tweeterdom, over the weekend we
had had a pair of Bald Eagles flying around our property (just up from the
fish hatchery of Soos Creek). When I first heard them, I thought they were
gulls calling. They were really vocalizing to each other. I haven't been
outside for past few days, so I don't know if they are still here. I am
hoping that they are looking for a place to build a nest!
