On our way home from seeing the Mountain Plover in Grays Harbor County we stopped at Goodrich Pond in Lewis County. North of the bridge before one gets to the pond was a Great Egret sitting high in a tree. At the pond we found Trumpeter Swans, 1 Ruddy Duck, 20 Black-bellied Plovers with even fewer Dunlin. No gulls were hanging around the pond due to high water everywhere.
