Did anyone else see the odd duck today at the Lagoon at Montlake
Fill? My
only hypothesis is a domestic mallard (hybrid?) but its features were so
clean and well-proportioned that I am still hoping it might be
something (a
stray?) that I'm unfamiliar with.

Chocolate brown body with buff/white breast, black cap, light brown eye
stripe with white directly behind both eyes. Black and white wing marks.
Grey bill and grey-brown feet.
