I am back home after leading a 3 day trip in the SE corner of the state. Here's a quick report of some of the great birds we found.

Long-tailed Duck (female) - Tucannon River mouth, first found by myself on Friday and then again seen by the group on Sunday - in Columbia county!

Western Bluebird - 2 seen near Starbuck

Say's Phoebe - 4 seen, 3 along Snake River Road in Asotin county, and one more on Wawawai River Road today in Whitman county

Lesser Goldfinch - one at a feeder in the town of Asotin at the point where First Street turns into Snake River Road

Gray-crowned Rosy Finch - several along the cliffs by Little Goose Dam in Columbia county

Pacific Loon - the continuing bird by Swallows Park in Clarkston

Mew Gull and Glaucous Gull - Asotin County Landfill

And much, much, more...I will do a full report later. It was a great trip with a great group!
