Here's a funny/tragic story in the Peninsula Daily News today about
Devan Miller on the Port Angeles CBC. To his huge surprise, while he
was birding his assigned area with Bob Norton on Jan 2nd, Devan
discovered his stolen and stripped VW van in the boonies near the
Elwha River. The van had been missing for five weeks. What you
don't find on a Christmas Bird Count!
