I have a pair of 10x40 Swarovski W traditional porro-style binos, which I
originally bought partly because they fit my smaller hands and eyes much
better than any others that I tried. They are very light-weight, waterproof,
with excellent brightness and a close focus. I've compared them many times
over the years to much pricier binos and even my guides have agreed that
they are comparable. You couldn't pry them out of my hands if you tried J So
I would say these might be a good alternative to the larger 10x42s if you
want comparable or better brightness with a lighter weight. Having small
hands, I just find them much easier to hold as well, very ergonomic.

Anyone else out there with smaller and lighter Swarovski EL 10X32s (or
8X32s)? Any problems? Additional thoughts?
