All,

I took approximately 170 shots of the Nisqually Egret from about 11:00
to 11:52. I've gone back through the photographs looking for better
"leg shots." I've posted one more here:

which shows the yellow extending to the lower leg, so as Bill Anderson
pointed out, some of the black is "dirt".

All shots were raw, with the only post-processing being cropping,
resizing and some sharpening. You can see the EXIF by putting your
mouse on the picture and rolling it over the "i" in the upper right hand
corner. You can get full-sized views by clicking on "SlideShow" and
using the menu that appears at the bottom.
