Whatever do you do with your binoculars? I take my 1981 Leitz 7 x 42
everywhere,
around the wet birding areas, up mountains, in sea kayaks, etc and I have
had one major repair in 30 years (when one eyepiece developed little
fractures coming in from the edges). I still think they are terrific, though
they don't focus down nearly as closely as the more recent models.
