Hi All,
For about three years now I?ve been sending out a periodic internal email at
my work called the Campus Update. It includes descriptions and photos of
wildlife encounters that I have on our 7-acre property in Lynnwood. I
recently sent out a 2010 year in review, and a portion of it was published
as a blog post on the PAWS web site here:

In the post I mention that I?ve documented 63 bird species using the small
property, but an encounter with a flock of Black-headed Grosbeaks just this
morning brings the total to 64. It really is amazing how important each
little island of habitat is within the urban landscape, and how many wild
animals use these small oases!
