Hi Tweeters,
Marti and Lew had lousy Snow Goose luck.? They are there.? I saw a bunch last Saturday but I? can remember a few times in the past going up to Fir Island, Skagit area and wondering where they were.? Sometimes they are out on the water and sometimes as far south as Stanwood.? Last week I saw 3 probable separate large flocks, one at Boe Rd, one at the Hayden Goose preserve but way out in the next field, and one flock at Maupin Road where there were at least 6 Bald Eagles feasting on goose.? I didn't see any Short-eared Owls but I know they are around, I did not make it as far as the W90 though either.
