Bill and I have been out hunting for the Mountain Plover in the places where it was seen last (1/2 mile north of the Quinault Casino) since about 8 am. Lots of other birders driving and walking the beach between there and Ocean City. So far no sign of the plover. Boy, it's really a beautiful day out here, though. No wind, mild, some sun.
